ViewCenter Seven Levels of Security

  • A secure login requires access into the Web site. An optional https site provides another level of security.
  • Collections: Permissions must be set for the user to access a group of documents.
  • Search: Users are granted rights to view a search that will display the requested documents.
  • Document Security: Actual documents can be set to have certain viewing, saving, and printing functions.
  • Data Permissions: Security rights on documents are limited to what a user can do with the data of the document (i.e. add, modify, delete,  etc).
  • Administrative Permissions: "Super Users" or administrators can be granted certain privileges within ViewCenter.
  • Creation Permissions: Administrators with given privileges can create collections, users, groups, and lists.
