ICM Document Solutions Launches “The Performance” Release of ViewCenter® 2.6
Document Management Solution Software Upgrade Improves Usability with New Features, Solutions, Enhancements
PHOENIX, AZ – December 01, 2009 — ICM Document Solutions today announced the release of ViewCenter® 2.6. “The Performance” upgrade includes several new components including: annotation and e-signature, Quality Management System (QMS) and Engineering Change Request/Engineering Change Order (ECR/ECO) workflow solutions, and Business Process Management (BPM).
ViewCenter is a web-based document management system for searching, retrieving and viewing documents online. The ‘Performance” upgrade to ViewCenter was purpose-built to improve usability features already in ViewCenter, as well as to introduce some industry-specific solutions for companies and government agencies looking to augment their corporate Quality Management and Risk Mitigation procedures.
“QMS is extremely important to our manufacturing client base, and the fact that ICM Document Solutions is ISO9001:2000 compliant demonstrates to companies that ICM is familiar with the process,” said Harold Schlesselman, Quality Manager at ICM. “We enable companies to produce auditable records via a centralized, web-based platform,” Schlesselman added.
Also included in “The Performance” upgrade are a drag-and-drop desktop application, a configurable revision control numbering schema, and standard forms and templates for compliancy. The “Performance” release of ViewCenter is a direct result of combining customer requested enhancements with industry-driven solutions,” remarked James Prevallet, ICM’s Director of Product Development. “Applying the right technology in response to customer challenges with risk mitigation and compliance requirements is a key differentiator for ICM’s product development team. This is not your vanilla-flavored software release. This is a medley of technology based improvements directed for line of business functionality and cost effectiveness,” Prevallet concluded.
